Teacher Prep

1. Measure your bulletin board or whiteboard to find the perimeter in inches. Divide by 30 to determine how many pages you should print. Each page provides 30 in. (76 cm.) of border. Example: A 3’x3’ board is 144 inches, divided by 30 is 4.8, so print 5 pages.
2. Choose your pattern and print on white cardstock.
3. Cut out the three pieces of bulletin board border, including the white tabs at one end.
4. Overlap the border using glue or tape to secure one piece to the next. Trim the end as needed to fit your board.
5. Laminate if desired.

Ideas for Use

• Use coordinating trim to outline your bulletin boards, whiteboard, windows, or classroom door.
• To save for reuse, you can roll the trim into bundles and hold with rubber bands, or you can clip them onto clothes hangers if you have a coat closet.
