What’s Included
This editable flipbook product is a PDF download with teacher instructions and links to 2 different Google Slides presentations. The first includes multiple page tabs on the same slide (so students would each get a page with tabs 1-4). The second, in response to a teacher request, includes multiple copies of the same tab on each slide. With this version, you can print each tab on different colored paper, but you will need to cut the pages apart before distributing to students.
Cover pages
Both files provide five different cover page designs, plus an option with blank covers (so that you can add content-related clipart if you desire). These pages include covers for four students so that you can easily print only the covers using colored paper or color ink. Whichever cover option you select, type the same title into all four boxes because this page will be cut apart to share among four students.
Content tabs
The remaining pages will contain the content of your flipbook. You can choose to use any number of tabs, but groups of four, eight, twelve, or sixteen will make complete rows. Each content page is numbered in the top right. Just replace the tab label and fill the text with notes and/or images for your students. I always plan for my students to use the back of the previous page for notes they will add to the booklet themselves, too.
After you have entered the text you want, be sure to save the Google Slides presentation with a new name so that you can reuse the template again and again.
Print and Assemble your Editable Flipbook
Print or copy one set of cover pages for each four students and one set of the remaining pages for each student. Have students cut the pages apart and stack them with the highest number on bottom and page 1 on top, then add the cover. Staple above the dashed lines and glue or staple into their interactive notebooks or store in their folders or binders.
